How sources are selected
Content is informed by current clinical guidance, peer-reviewed research and recognised health authorities. Preference is given to Australian specialist and government sources where suitable, together with relevant international guidelines and high-quality medical literature.
Sources are assessed for clinical relevance, publication quality and currency. Commercial popularity alone is not treated as evidence.

Clinical pages are reviewed periodically and sooner when important new guidance, safety information or treatment evidence becomes available. Review dates are changed only after the page has been medically reviewed.
